STEVEN SEBRING STUDIO 2012-2016

Sebring Studio was a client of tinlab’s begining in 2006. tinlab won the “Best Personal Website“ Webby Award in 2007 with stevensebring.com. In 2012 I began working on a new website for the new studio with CARGO. While finishing the website, I started working on the construction of the geodesic dome and the 100 camera array that was to be the new heart of the studio. I ended up in charge of all aspects of pre-production, production, and post production. This included the design and development of several automated multi camera arrays that later earned U.S. and international patents.

This experimental work was showcased in an exhibit at the Armory in 2013. Later we deployed the rig in Vancouver B.C., and then in Wickelow Ireland, collecting Gold and Silver Clios for Audio Visual Technique in 2015. In 2016 we partnered with Dahni Harrison and Rodney Mullen to create Liminal, a short film that was featured on Vogue.com. Subsequently we partnered with Durst to develop our experimental arrays into commercial products.
